Great food, friendly and efficient staff. This is a favorite restaurant of my in-laws. We were in South Bend for a graduation and had dinner here for a party of 12. They do not take reservations, but they were able to accommodate us at 730p on a Saturday night. We all enjoyed our entrees, servings are very generous so go hungry. We ordered the pork chop, burger, gyro platter, hamburger steak, club sandwich, chicken parm, to name few. Food came out fast, our server was very efficient, I did not get her name but she was on top of everything, as far as refills, and clearing dishes away. Lastly dessert was ordered, carrot cake, German chocolate cake, apple pie, strawberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We had such a great meal and conversation, that we didn't realize the restaurant closed at 830p. The staff did not rush us out, but kept refills going, and let us order dessert. We left at 9p with full bellies and a memorable meal. I hope we can visit this place again in 2yrs when the next graduation is happening.
Tasty home cooked food; clean and cozy inside and obviously well-cared-for; courteous and professional staff. Saturday night special country fried steak for 2 with rice pudding for dessert! Really delivered more than we expected
I have ordered just about every sandwich here and enjoyed them. Had multiple kinds of breakfasts and also enjoyed them. Ordered a couple different kinds of dinners before and liked those too. My favorite is the Roast Beef Sandwich with Auju. May not be the cheapest option out there, but always worth it and the food is also good.
Fell in love with the place; definitely would come again for the chocolate frogs! They're so cute and light; not overbearingly chocolatey at all. And the staff was so sweet and helpful when it came to explaining anything from their soups to their vegetable side of the day. Definitely would come again and recommend for a cozy dinner or breakfast spot!
This place was amazing! It offered 1st class dining at affordable prices. The staff were all neatly dressed and friendly. The portions were good sized and delicious. I had the broiled salmon with coleslaw in place of the potato Choices. The salmon was excellent and the salad was also a large portion. To finish the meal off I had the blueberry cheesecake. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be back to this place
**Pay diner prices, but experience truly upscale service with genuinely phenomenal food** My wife and I stopped in at Prime Table at "Prime Time" (okay, I won't make the joke again, promise) on a Saturday in the morning and it was a full house. We are greeted immediately and sat quickly where coffee was offered within seconds and was a welcomed surprise compared to other restaurants who do not value their hospitality like Prime Table does. Speaking of service, our server, Jessica, was flawless. Attentive and present only exactly when needed. It doesn't stop with Jessica though. We were tended to hand and foot by no less than 3 servers/assistents. Coffee was never below half and our food was out fast. When I say I've never had biscuits and gravy like this since I've been in the south. I mean it. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and perfect meeting of specifications (got my homefries well-done and eggs over-medium) matters. When I'm paying less than I would at a fast-food restaurant and getting this kind service and food, it's very difficult to deviate from going here.
First time here and it was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, my waffle was delicious, light and crisp. Biscuits & gravy were excellent and my eggs & bacon were fantastic. Bacon was perfect. I live in Goshen but will make the drive whenever I can. Our server was Karla and she was on top of things. We had 10 in our party and she was great.
From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family. The food tastes like it came from your grandma’s kitchen, you can taste the love in every bite! The portions are huge, you won’t leave hungry! The service is second to none! This restaurant is spotless! You will NOT be disappointed!
